Han Yuming, a "nail house" in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, refused to be demolished and stood on the roof of the building and exchanged fireworks with the developer.
Developers and nail-biting households shoot fireworks at each other, suspected of using the name of a large company for demolition
Han Yuming, who had been engaged in a demolition fight with the developer for several years and was eventually detained for shooting fireworks at each other, may not have known who the developer he was facing was.
On December 28, The Paper exclusively reported that Han Yuming, a "nail house" in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, refused to be demolished and stood on the roof of the building to shoot fireworks at each other with the developer. He was eventually detained on suspicion of endangering public safety (some developers were also detained).
Han Yuming's wife Tian Xiuying said that the developer attempting to demolish the property was a large company, Hebei Construction Engineering Group. The "Phoenix City Project Introduction" she provided showed that the development unit of the Phoenix City project is "Hebei Construction Real Estate Co., Ltd." The company's official website shows that the company was invested and established by Hebei Construction Engineering Group.
During an interview with The Paper, Tian Xiuying repeatedly stated that the developer of the Phoenix City project is Hebei Construction Engineering Group, because "whether it is project promotion, project introduction board, or contract signing, the signature of the development unit of the Phoenix City project is Hebei Construction Engineering Real Estate Co., Ltd."
However, at noon on December 29, Hebei Construction Engineering Group took the initiative to call The Paper to complain, saying that they were not the developer who exchanged firecrackers with "nail house" Han Yuming, and that their name had been "stolen."
A staff member of the Propaganda Department of Hebei Construction Engineering Group surnamed Xu said that Hebei Construction Engineering Group (including "Hebei Construction Engineering Real Estate Co., Ltd.") did not participate in the development of the Phoenix City project in Cangzhou City, and there was no forced demolition with "nail house" Han Yuming.
Mr. Xu said: "We only participated in this project as a construction unit. The developer of this project is Cangzhou Jiangong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. We have a construction contract with them, but we have never had development cooperation."
To prove his innocence, Mr. Xu also sent an email to The Paper reporter, which contained two screenshots. One was from the "Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System", showing the basic information of the company "Cangzhou Jiangong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd."; the other was a screenshot from the real estate inquiry website, showing that the developer of the Phoenix City project in Canal District, Cangzhou City was "Cangzhou Jiangong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd."
On the afternoon of the 29th, The Paper called the Phoenix City Sales Office, and its staff said: "Our developer is Cangzhou Construction Engineering Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. The reason why the name of Hebei Construction Engineering is listed is because we are a branch of Hebei Construction Engineering Group."
In this regard, Mr. Xu said "impossible". He said that Hebei Construction Group has nothing to do with Cangzhou Construction Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and has no knowledge of what "Cangzhou Construction" is doing. "We reserve the right to pursue Cangzhou Construction's misappropriation of our group's name."
The Paper reporter found that "SouFun.com" showed that the developer of the Phoenix City project in Cangzhou City was "Hebei Construction Real Estate Co., Ltd. Cangzhou Branch".
In this regard, Mr. Xu from Hebei Construction Engineering Group said that Hebei Construction Engineering Real Estate Co., Ltd. had indeed registered a Cangzhou branch. In the early stage of the Phoenix City project, the Cangzhou Branch wanted to participate in the development of Phoenix City. However, according to the policy, the branch was not qualified for development, so the Cangzhou Branch failed to participate in the development of Phoenix City and was canceled in 2013.
Mr. Xu said: "Probably because our group has a relatively good reputation in Hebei, Cangzhou Construction Engineering did this (stealing the name of Hebei Construction Engineering Group) for this reason."
The Paper found that Cangzhou Jiangong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. was established on June 26, 2013, and the Cangzhou branch of Hebei Jiangong Real Estate Co., Ltd. was also canceled in 2013.
But what’s puzzling is that the Phoenix project began four years ago.
Tian Xiuying said: "We don't know this because whether it is publicity or billboards, it says 'Hebei Construction Engineering'."
