The trial will be held at the Fourth Trial Chamber of the Gaobeidian City People's Court of Hebei Province at 9:30 a.m. on May 16, 2019.

Brief introduction to the case:

On March 26, 2019, the plaintiff received the "Decision to Reject the Application for Administrative Review" (Yizhengfuju [2019] No. xx) issued by the defendant Yixian People's Government, rejecting the plaintiff's request for reconsideration. The plaintiff is a villager in Donggao Village, Gaocun Township, Yixian County, Baoding City. The land contracted by the plaintiff is facing expropriation, but the plaintiff has never seen any legal expropriation procedures. October 26, 2018 On August 1, the trees and other young crops on the plaintiff's land were forcibly destroyed by staff of the Yixian Natural Resources and Planning Bureau (formerly Yixian Land and Resources Bureau) and the Yixian Gaocun Town People's Government, causing huge losses to the plaintiff. The plaintiff believed that the agricultural land and related facilities contracted and operated by him did not violate any legal provisions, and the state expropriated them in accordance with legal procedures. The Yixian Natural Resources and Planning Bureau (formerly Yixian Land and Resources Bureau) and the Yixian Gaocun Town People's Government did not have any power to destroy the plaintiff's land without judicial review. The plaintiff believed that the defendant's decision to reject the reconsideration violated legal provisions and that the defendant should make a reconsideration decision in accordance with the law instead of rejecting the reconsideration application. Therefore, we filed a lawsuit with the court and the case is currently under trial.
