Our firm's lawyers Lu Yongqiang, Dong Guonv, and Zhang Fengbin will hold discussions with the Fuding Municipal Government on April 18 and 19, 2019, regarding the compensation issues involved in the resumption of land and expropriation of land properties of Fujian Province XX Shipping Company.

Case analysis:

Fujian XX Shipping Company was established on February 27, 2008, with a registered capital of RMB 10 million. On May 26, 2008, it signed the "XX Shipbuilding Project Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as the "Project Agreement") with the Fuding Municipal People's Government, which provided it with about 140 acres of land in XX Village, XX County, Fuding City, and a coastline of about 660 meters (the actual area and coastline are subject to the red line planning map after survey approval) to build a ship base. On August 4, 2009, Ningde Port Authority approved the use of 1,481 meters of coastline. On January 18, 2012, XX Shipping Company received the sea area use right certificate. In 2018, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the Dingsheng Premium Steel Project, the municipal government implemented compulsory demolition of some of the factories and facilities of Fujian Province XX Shipbuilding Company, as well as the production equipment and facilities of tenants on the site.

In November 2018, Fujian XX Shipping Company reached an entrustment relationship with Beijing Yingtong Law Firm. Beijing Yingting Law Firm has filed administrative lawsuits in accordance with the law against administrative actions such as infringement of shoreline use rights and illegal land resumption by the Fuding Municipal Government. We will continue to work hard to obtain more legitimate rights and interests for the parties concerned.
