Homesteads have undergone tremendous changes in recent years. The state is continuously strengthening the management and control of rural homesteads, improving the efficiency of use of rural homesteads, and reducing problems such as idle waste of rural homestead resources. At the same time, the country is also constantly making reasonable and effective planning for rural homesteads and other resources, releasing more homestead rights and interests to farmers, so that farmers can feel the actual benefits brought by the increased value of homesteads. However, in the reform of homestead land, there are still two major problems plaguing farmers. One is the issue of homestead inheritance, and the other is the issue of homestead demolition compensation and inheritance!

Regarding the issue of homestead inheritance, the country has clearly stipulated in the "Land Management Law" that rural homesteads are owned by rural collective organizations, so there is no inheritance issue for homesteads. When the family using the homestead becomes extinct, the homestead will be taken back by the rural collective organization. However, although the ownership belongs to the rural collective organization, the farmer friends enjoy the qualification and use rights of the homestead. When the head of the family dies, the homestead will continue to be used by other family members, but there is no inheritance issue!
With the continuous development of rural areas, rural homesteads are also facing problems such as demolition and expropriation. According to the "Land Management Law" and relevant national planning needs, farmers' land and homesteads can be expropriated, but farmers need to be given appropriate compensation. So can farmers' friends inherit the demolition compensation?
In 2018, the state made certain adjustments to the compensation methods for the demolition and expropriation of rural houses, and the scope of compensation for the expropriation of rural houses and homestead sites was also expanded. During the process of demolition and expropriation of homesteads and houses, the compensation is mainly divided into: land compensation, house compensation, compensation for its attachments, and house decoration compensation, etc., and then After the national rural land expropriation compensation adjustment, land compensation and housing compensation will be distributed to farmers. At the same time, farmers will also be given resettlement compensation to ensure the basic life of farmers. It can be seen that among the above compensations, except for land compensation, other compensations will compensate farmers for their economic losses!
It can be seen from this that during the demolition process of rural homesteads, subsidies are given to farmers as compensation for their inherent assets. The compensation money also belongs to the farmers' inherent assets, so the demolition compensation can be inherited, so farmers do not need to worry about this issue. However, if after the death of the elderly family member, the house has been taken back by the rural collective organization before the homestead demolition, then such houses will not be compensated, and there will be no inheritance issue of the compensation money!
